Production Position Openings
Venture Products, Inc. (VENTRAC) is accepting applications for full-time positions on 2nd shift for FABRICATION, WELDING, ASSEMBLY and PAINTING departments, as well as 1st shift ASSEMBLY department.

Ideal candidates must have demonstrated the ability to work in a fast pace, highly flexible, team environment. Excellent attendance record is a must.

Welding applicants must have 2+ yrs welding experience in MIG/pulse. Operators will be trained to program, set up and run robots.

Canadian/european Sales Representative

JOB: Canadian/european Sales Representative

The Canadian/European Sales Rep is responsible for building and developing a dealer/distributor network that expands the distribution of the Ventrac product line. This position will support strategic goals of the company and will build and maintain strong relationships with the Ventrac dealerships, distributors, and end user. This job involves a relationship based approach that allows us to create a positive and informative experience by exceeding expectations and demonstrating outstanding product knowledge, along with a world class customer service experience with every interaction for each customer lead contact.


Responsibilities:
  • Develop a dealer/distributor network in Canada and distributorship network in Europe and support other territories at the request and needs of Venture Products Inc
  • Build healthy and productive communication within and outside of Venture Products
  • Monitor dealer/distributor success in each market and increase market share yearly. Prospect for successful dealers/distributors in needed markets
  • Actively solve problems and issues within assigned territory
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
  • Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of manufactured products
  • Monitor dealer/distributor sales to determine effectiveness of dealers sales force
  • Plan and Coordinate training such as:
  • Product /Demo training
  • Programs Implementation
  • Marketing-Network
  • Developing strategies/plans of actions for Ventrac products to be sold within each dealer/distributor and hold the dealer/distributor accountable to those plans and outcomes
  • Attending and supporting dealer/distributor activities such as tradeshows, open-houses etc.
  • Be field expert in territory regarding marketing and product needs, yearly sales programs, development programs, overall sales strategy and other areas that can improve Venture Products Inc.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year experience of International Sales
  • Demonstrated long term customer relationships
  • Must enjoy building and nurturing long term business relationships.
  • Must have mechanical aptitude
  • Overall travel is expected to be approximately 75% annually; travel will be spend overnights and some weekends away from home
  • Successfully demonstrated - Strong written and verbal communication skills, including phone communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills professional, courteous, friendly and helpful
  • Excellent grammar, voice and diction abilities
  • Excellent computer and keyboarding skills Excel, Word, Internet

Video Editor

DATE: March 11, 2016
JOB: Video Editor

The primary role of this position is to shoot and edit promotional videos for Venture Products, Inc, including interviews with customers, product introductions and spotlights, and how to tutorials. At times this will require organizing video shoots as well as writing video scripts. It will require working with a team to generate content ideas at the beginning of a project, and requesting and implementing feedback towards the end of a project. Candidates must possess a working knowledge of sound production, lighting, and manual camera controls. While video shooting and editing will be the primary role of this position, this position may be asked to assist with other marketing functions including still photography, social media and website content generation.


Responsibilities:
  • Shoot video using a variety of camera tools including dedicated cameras with manual controls, DSLRs, GoPros, Drones
  • Set up professional lighting for shoots
  • Setup audio recording through external lavaliere and/or shotgun microphones
  • Edit video using Adobe Premiere Pro on a PC platform
  • Animate things such as titles in Adobe After Affects and Photoshop
  • Assist with Social Media
  • Website content generation

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience in video production
  • 1+ years of experience in editing
  • Attained or seeking a minimum of an Associate Degree in Communications or related field
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team, accept feedback and make necessary changes
  • Excellent computer and keyboarding skills (Microsoft Office, Internet)

Welding Robot Operator

DATE: March 15, 2016
JOB: Welding Robot Operator

This position requires a person to set up, operate, and/or tend welding machines or robots to produce weldments. They must pay HIGH attention to detail and work under limited supervision. They must efficiently perform hand welding and running of a robot welder. This job involves collaborating with other team members to help meet department goals and objectives.


Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshooting determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
  • Quality Control Analysis- Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
  • Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
  • Welding of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for producing high quality weld through hand welding and operating a welding robot
  • Set up, operate, or tend welding machines that join or bond components to fabricate metal products or assemblies.
  • Produce quality product in a team environment to meet department goals and objectives
  • Load or feed work-pieces into welding machines to join or bond components.
  • Use hand tools or machines to assemble parts
  • Read and understand schematics and blueprints
  • Conduct quality control checks
  • Inspect, operate, and test completed products to verify functioning, machine capabilities, or conformance to required specifications.
  • Position or align components for welding in fixtures or jigs.
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Rework, repair, or replace damaged parts
  • Determining the kind of tools, fixtures, patterns, etc. are needed to do a job.
  • Perform basic routine maintenance.
  • Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be able to read and understand welding instruction and procedures
  • Safety conscious individual.
  • Self-motivated individual which understands the importance of time constraints.
  • Bending, squatting, walking or standing for long periods of time may occur
  • Must be flexible with work schedule and overtime hours.
  • Must be able to lift at least 80lbs.
  • The ability to pass drug and criminal background screenings
  • Must be able to pass the Welding test
  • Must be able to work 2nd shift

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3yrs+ years of welding experience
  • Programming & Writing computer programs for various purposes.
  • Experience operating robotic welders
