Production Position Openings
Venture Products, Inc. (VENTRAC) is accepting applications for full-time positions on 2nd shift for FABRICATION, WELDING, ASSEMBLY and PAINTING departments, as well as 1st shift ASSEMBLY department.

Ideal candidates must have demonstrated the ability to work in a fast pace, highly flexible, team environment. Excellent attendance record is a must.

Welding applicants must have 2+ yrs welding experience in MIG/pulse. Operators will be trained to program, set up and run robots.

Canadian/alaskan Sales Representative

JOB: Canadian/alaskan Sales Representative

The Canadian/Alaskan Sales Rep is responsible for building and developing a dealer/distributor network that expands the distribution of the Ventrac product line. This position will support strategic goals of the company and will build and maintain strong relationships with the Ventrac dealerships, distributors, and end user. This job involves a relationship based approach that allows us to create a positive and informative experience by exceeding expectations and demonstrating outstanding product knowledge, along with a world class customer service experience with every interaction for each customer lead contact.


Responsibilities:
  • Develop a dealer/distributor network in Canada and Alaska and support other territories at the request and needs of Venture Products Inc
  • Build healthy and productive communication within and outside of Venture Products
  • Monitor dealer/distributor success in each market and increase market share yearly. Prospect for successful dealers/distributors in needed markets
  • Actively solve problems and issues within assigned territory
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
  • Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of manufactured products
  • Monitor dealer/distributor sales to determine effectiveness of dealers sales force
  • Plan and Coordinate training such as:
  • Product /Demo training
  • Programs Implementation
  • Marketing-Network
  • Developing strategies/plans of actions for Ventrac products to be sold within each dealer/distributor and hold the dealer/distributor accountable to those plans and outcomes
  • Attending and supporting dealer/distributor activities such as tradeshows, open-houses etc.
  • Be field expert in territory regarding marketing and product needs, yearly sales programs, development programs, overall sales strategy and other areas that can improve Venture Products Inc.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year experience of Canadian Sales
  • Demonstrated long term customer relationships
  • Must enjoy building and nurturing long term business relationships.
  • Must have mechanical aptitude
  • Overall travel is expected to be approximately 70% annually; travel will be spend overnights and some weekends away from home
  • Successfully demonstrated - Strong written and verbal communication skills, including phone communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills professional, courteous, friendly and helpful
  • Excellent grammar, voice and diction abilities
  • Excellent computer and keyboarding skills Excel, Word, Internet
  • Superb ability to read, understand and interpret mechanical and operational information effectively
  • Strong process and organizational skills
  • Excellent presentation skills with internal and external customers
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Business or related field

Fabricator

DATE: May 20, 2016
JOB: Fabricator

Punch out and stack Laser parts and put away accordingly by work center.


Responsibilities:
  • The person is responsible for:
  • Unloading laser cut parts
  • Stacking and Counting like pieces
  • Putting parts away in the proper location
  • Make sure parts are to quality
  • Buff imperfections out of parts

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Self-motivated individual which understands the importance of time constraints
  • Ability to operate forklift
  • Bending, squatting, walking or standing for long periods of time may occur
  • Safety conscious individual
  • Must be able to read and understand established procedures and detailed work instructions. (Blueprints)
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to wear proper PPE ( Personal Protection Equipment )
  • -Protective outer garments (gloves, boots, earplugs, glasses etc.)
  • Must be flexible with work schedule and overtime hours
  • Must be flexible with various work centers and job duties
  • The ability to pass drug and criminal background screenings

Fabricator/press Brake Operator

JOB: Fabricator/press Brake Operator

This member of the fabrication team will primarily be responsible for operating a press brake, along with other work centers within the department. 2nd shift


Responsibilities:
  • Candidates must possess a positive attitude and maintain high safety standards. This position requires the ability to process job orders with high precision and accuracy, while working in a fast paced environment. Candidates will need the mechanical ability & spatial recognition skills to produce complex shapes. The candidate must be able to collaborate effectively with other team members to help meet department goals and objectives, & also adjust & clean their equipment in order to produce consistent & correct parts.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum high school diploma
  • Minimum 1-3 years of applicable work experience
  • Safety conscious individual
  • Working knowledge of metal working and machining
  • Must be able to read and understand established procedures and detailed work instructions, including CAD drawings.
  • Ability to use measuring instruments. (Protractor, Tape Measure, Digital Calipers, Micrometer)
  • Ability to operate CNC machine controls and operate fluently in a Windows environment.
  • Ability to interact and understand electronic time keeping
  • Self-motivated individual which understands the importance of time constraints, and is able to effectively prioritize tasks when multiple due dates exist.
  • Ability to operate forklift and overhead hoist in a safe and orderly manner
  • Bending, squatting, walking or standing for long periods of time may occur
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to wear proper PPE ( Personal Protection Equipment )
  • -Protective outer garments (gloves, boots, earplugs, glasses etc.)
