He is a self-proclaimed ‘Equipment Junkie’ and doesn’t mind investing in good equipment.Pete’s lawn business has expanded since adding Ventrac, and he’s been able to offer so many more services. His business used to be fertilizer, weed control, and mowing, but his investment in Ventrac and attachments has added specialized revenue streams. He is now taking on jobs such as reconditioning gravel driveways, brush mowing, and even trenching.During the winter season, when mowing is less, he takes on gravel driveway restorations where he re-crowns them, smooths them out, fixes potholes, etc. He can save his clients from purchasing new gravel by bringing old gravel to the surface for a fresh finish.Pete’s favorite attachment for his Ventrac is the Tough Cut with dual wheels because he is unstoppable where other brush mowers cannot go. He can offer slope mowing on hills up to 30 degrees and cut through tall brush and small saplings for his clients.The Ventrac leaves some of the most inexperienced first-time users with a feeling of assurance and determination after operation.
