With the versatility of the Ventrac, Carl can quote jobs that he wasn’t able to previously. His ability to use one machine to complete over 30 jobs allows him to save money by eliminating his need to purchase job specific machines. The turf is also left undamaged because of the machine's light footprint. I can be a little more aggressive and go after larger properties and things of that nature because of the fact that I know I can get it done in a timely manner and if you don't have a Ventrac, you're just not going to compete. The biggest challenge that we come across in this area of West Virginia is there's a lot of hills, a lot of grass on hills, we get a lot of rain. You need to be able to do what needs to be done even if it's wet. The out-front mower deck cuts down on weed eating and you can get a lot closer to things, get underneath trees, get tight to mulch beds. Things you just wouldn't be able to do with a zero turn. You can use it to put Riverstone around a house with a slip-scoop and not ever do any damage to the ground around it. It's just so much better. You're done in no time at all in comparison to a wheelbarrow and a skid steer would just tear the ground up too much. Snow removal we do a couple large complexes where we have a lot of sidewalks that we have to clear snow with and put ice-melt material on. It does a really nice job with snow removal whether it be with the broom or the blade, it's fantastic. My work experience has given me the opportunity to a lot of my own maintenance and my own working on things and with the Ventrac, I haven't done any alterations to it whatsoever to try to beef it up just because it's fine the way it is. The Ventrac is a solid investment. Whenever I was looking at them, I thought man I can't pay that right now with the size of my business. After using it, then on, I can't imagine not having one and to do it over, it would have been a good investment whenever I thought that it wouldn't have been a good investment.
