Ventrac vs. Compact Tractor

Duration: 4:46 - Views: 776267
In this video we compare how a traditional sub compact tractor with loader and a Ventrac tractor with power bucket differ at moving mulch. The steering of the traditional sub compact tractor turns the front tires in a way that tears at the grass as the tractor turns. This aggressive method of turning causes grass and the soil to be damaged in the process. The Ventrac tractor features an articulating steering which causes the tractor to pivot in the center, and allows the wheels to roll over the lawn. The articulated style of tractor is by far the best way to maneuver a all wheel drive tractor across delicate turf surfaces and do the least amount of damage.
